The breakout board can be built into any existing piece of MIDI equipment that features MIDI I/O. Power consumption is ultra low and it works natively with Apple iOS, MacOS, Windows and Android. It can also play both the central and peripheral role to connect to any existing BLE MIDI peripheral, such as Roland AX Edge, Korg MicroKey Air, Roli Seaboard, CME Xkey Air, Jamstik+ Guitar, etc.

Using this device in the first of what will be a series of insane wireless MIDI keyboards. It pairs with a CME "WIDI JACK" device attached to a voice generator box. Very satisfied!

Damit habe ich das Kabel meines MIDI-Akkordeons eliminieren können. Keine Stolperfalle mehr und die gewohnte Bewegungsfreiheit zurückerhalten. Die Latenzen sind nicht wirklich spürbar und bisher läuft alles problemlos.Einziger Nachteil ist ein zusätzlich benötigter Akku, der gepflegt werden muss. Aber das liegt nunmal in der Natur der Sache.Für die Integration in das vorhandene MIDI-System war allerdings auch einige Entwicklungsarbeit notwendig.Das Gegenstück am Soundmodul ist ein WIDI Master.

Specific for the H4widi and an easy install. Massive expansion of channels available, great software tool for filtering transposing and doing things like assigning lower notes on a keyboard to sending program change or transpose messages.
