I built my daughter a rock climbing wall. These have held up great for a few months now in bad weather. My only issue is the hardware was to short for 2 inch wood so i had to use screw instead. But if you’re using 1 inch material they are great for that.

Work great for my 3 and 4 year old boys. Enough holds to put on a 3' wide x 7' tall climbing wall on a tree house with a couple left over. The hardware worked fine to install on 5/4" decking. You have to have access to the back side of your wall. Otherwise you'll need some sort of lag screw. The nuts grip the wood, so once they bite, you can tighten them down without a wrench, but it does take two hands to get them started.

While installation was complicated due to angle of the wall we did eventually get it done. The disappointing part is that, in less than 2 months since installation, the hardware has started to rust dramatically on some components, largely the washers. Very disappointing.
