I tried a CMT flush trim router bit and was impressed at how sharp it was and how well it performed. I tried CMT again when I needed a rabbeting bit for my palm router. This bit meets and exceeds my expectations. While I will continue to purchase Whiteside and Freud router bits I will not hesitate to also consider CMT bits for future needs. Highly recommend.

I have used a Freud rabbet bit in the past and this cut way smoother and costs less. Packaging is great directions and setup is easy. Highly recommend this

Good clean cut. Storage requires you to keep up with a hex wrench to keep spacers secured by or to swap. Hard to figure out what washer to use with a spacer. Had to analyze pictures and part numbers. Still a good value.

Bought this ( like most of us buy router bits) because I was stuck on a particular project. This set let me cut the step I needed cleanly with zero tearout.Very impressed with the quality, flexibility and convenient storage box.

I consider this router bit a must have for all woodworkers who uses any type Router. The only thing I did not like about the bit, it has 1/4" shank. When I looked up on Amazon for this the CMT 835.502.11 Rabbeting Set, 1/2-Inch Shank, Carbide-Tipped router bit. I was mislead by the information given to me thinking it was the 1/2" shank bit. So I went and bought the bit...On arrival when I opened it, it was the 1/4" shank bit I received. I was very disappointed in my purchase. Because I live in the Caribbean it would've cost me more to return my bits, so I decided to take my losses and stick with it. I have used the bit a few times and I have no complain about its performance. Because of that I gave it a full 5 star rating.

Great price for basically 7 different router bits. The blade is also very sharp, we used it for cutting a composite cabinet and the blade ran through like butter leaving a beautifully smooth edge with no chipping or tearing.

Cut is very clean and the multiple changeable bearings make it very usable to cut various width rabbet cuts.

I have this set with a 1/2" shank. Since I use my compact router so much, I ordered the set with a 1/4" shaft. The CMT bits and sets are great. The item arrived as promised.
