OK.... this is one of 3 Third Party cases I've tried. I've only tried cases that have the same form factor as the Amazon Cases (Tri-Fold style)This case is great. Feels good and solid in the hand. And, feels like the kindle is protected. Does add a bit of weight, but not bad, in my opinion...b/c if I'm using it, I'm usually either using the stand function, or have it laying flat. Probably wouldn't hold it in one hand very long. When in Stand-Mode, the magnets hold the flap in place really securely. It takes a little force (not allot) to break it free, so to speak. That brings me to the one issue i have. Magnet strength on the Front. The front easily comes open if you turn it upside down.... However, I noticed the same problem with the other two cases I tried. So, in order for it to not come open in my bag, and inadvertently wake up the kindle, I have wrapped a thin hair tie around it (in the photo). Works perfectly. You would think I should wrap it where the indent /fold is...but, if it's there, the lower two thirds still separate. With it where I have it, it doesn't open at all.I really like the placement of the pen, enclosed in the case, and it comes out really easily. It's really only being "held" in by the magnetism of the kindle itself, although it is still protected on the side.Lastly, I do like that there is a place to put extra nibs.... I just wish I could store the remove tool there as well. Seems like an oversight, but, may be due to the size of the remove tool. No big deal. All in all, a wonderful case, and worth the extra money, over others.

The design is great. I feel it offers good protection, it's easy to remove the pen, the nib storage is convenient, and the adjustments to prop the Scribe up are perfect. The magnets don't seem to interfere with writing or sleep/awake mode. I wish there was an elastic band to secure the top cover. This case makes the Scribe HEAVY. I suspect it has to do with the additional magnets used to keep the two "stand" options stable. This is the case I'll be keeping out of the four I've ordered

I am very happy with this case! It feels high end and costs much less than the official cover. I bought the sage green colored leather for around $29. My kindle is very well protected and so is the pencil. I like to put my kindle into my satchel, but the pen would always fall to the bottom. Now I have a case that stores the pencil and even a compartment for the replacement tips! The leather exterior looks great and durable. I like the weight. It feels very natural to hold. If anything could be improved, it would be the magnet strength when the folio is opened. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would purchase from Cobak again.

This case fits my Kindle Scribe perfectly, providing a snug and secure hold. Its foldable design is a big plus, allowing me to prop the e-reader upright on my desk for hands-free reading. The color and quality are impressive, with a sturdy, solid look that feels well-made.However, this durability comes at a cost—the cover adds more weight and bulk to the Kindle Scribe, making an already heavy device even heftier. While I appreciate the protection and functionality, the added weight is one of my least favorite aspects, as it makes the e-reader less portable and comfortable to hold for extended periods. I only use it when Im reading on my desk. But I use my Kindle Paperwhite more often because of the size and weight is perfect and more portable.

With little options for a nice fitting, sturdy and good looking Scribe case I'm sure glad I went with this one. The Kindle fits nicely and is protected around all edges except charging port area. The pen snaps in magnetically, hold is strong and above pen is storage for extra tips (Love that). The material in general is of decent quality and looks like it has the ability to hold up over time. Weight is nice and makes the device feel protected and of better quality than lots of other Kindle cases availible. I highly recommend this case to anyone with a Scribe.

Some pluses are the ability to store the pen and extra tip within the case. Also not too large or heavy. Unfortunately the magnets have become detached and I have lost some. Also the plastic frame that holds the Kindles has broken on the corners.

Ordered this case in a hurry after I got my new Kindle paperwrite and realized it had zero protection, and I'm not so gentle on my technology. Best part is, the Kindle fits amazing. It has a magnetic closure to keep it sealed and protected as well as allowing it to be propped up in 2 different positions for writing or reading. It has extra storage for your pen and pen nibs. Not to mention, it feels so soft, almost like leather. And I love my beautiful soft green color.

I spent hours and hours looking at cases for my kindle scribe. None seemed to be engineered in a way that made sense to me, except this one. I love it and it's holding up very nicely. The material is very nice. I love that the pen can still be attached magnetically to the side of the kindle. The pen is very secure there, but it's also easy to get in and out. The kindle is very secure in the case and is very well protected. The case is sturdy so it does add a little weight. The front cover folds flush against the back of the case and attaches there magnetically, making it easy to use flat in your lap, etc. I don't use it any other way so cannot comment on the stand function.**11/24 update** My case is still holding up well but did get acquire some mysterious black/gray smudges on the exterior while hanging around the kitchen. After much scrubbing with water and a damp rag, which didn’t do a thing, I found that rubbing alcohol (isopropanol) is the secret to keeping a clean case exterior!
