I bought these for my bartending business to use for garnishes (old fashioneds) for a wedding and were a hit. I continued using them for other events and the guests liked the small touch. Very classy and I had no issues with splintering nor with any pearls coming off. These can pierce thick pineapple as well so can say they are sharp and sturdy.

I purchased these toothpicks to stick in an appetizer food item that is similar to mini falafels. The pointed end was sharp enough to easily penetrate the item and strong enough to hold it. The toothpick never bent. I was very impressed with the quality and the color. The color was shiny and really added an elegance to the appetizer table at my daughter's rose gold themed bridal shower. Loved it!
