I had a cocktail set with the mixers, muddlers, etc., but it didn't have this kind of strainer. I bought this, and it's a great addition, the build quality is good, it cleans well in the dishwasher, so it's very practical. It fits my mixing tumbler perfectly, and lets me strain out ice in a breeze. The spring isn't particularly tightly wound, so it will let through small chunks of ice, and things like pulp from juice, etc. This can be a good or a bad thing, depending on your need, so not a star off for this, but it's worth knowing its usage.

This is your pretty typical, run of the mill hawthorne strainer. It definitely strains and is easy to use. The loop on the bottom makes it easy to hang which is a nice feature not all of my strainers have. Would highly recommend for any mixology lover or to spruce up your at home bar!

This is a great little strainer. It is made of a durable and strong stainless steel. I tried to bend it and I was not able to bend it so it is plenty strong and will last you a long time. Great for cocktails

Perfect for your bar. Every mixologist needs one, it's a bar essential, just like a shaker, can't have one without the other. This one does not disappoint, fits perfectly over a shaker and does the job you expect. Five stars

This strainer has a nice weight to it. Definitely not flimsy. It works well with the professional everyday Boston Shaker. Would make a nice hostess gift. Overall, a nice quality strainer.
