I trout fish with an ultra light spinning real with chest waders. I don’t know how I did it without one of these. Drop the rod in and you can go hands free to tie and deal with hooked fish.

Great lil setup. I thought these were silly looking but they serve a purpose: Tool belt for pliers, scissors, dehooker. I look so goofy with them on but I don't care b/c I have my most essential tools right at my waist when i'm fishing trout. Extremely hard to wear a regular belt + waders. I didn't want to ruin my leather belt in the salt water so this is a cheaper alternative and I have to admit, it works very well.The tools don't move much b/c there is a stop on the right hip side of the belt. So make sure you use that to your advantage. Also, dehooking with two hands while the pole is inside the holster is a +++. Rehooking shrimp or tying a new leader on is so much easier now as well.I would always view these gadets as silly and "soft" and not needed but when an action becomes repetitive and you have a solution to it, it's not so silly anymore is it? Looking silly and enjoying my time fishing is priceless.

Great item...belt could be a bit sturdier..but not too bad! Use it everytime I fish!

This has become a must for every fishing trip. I love having my glove, belt knife, and pliers handy. Being able to put my fishing pole in the holder, frees up both my hands, making tying lure or unhooking fish a breeze.

I was a little skeptical at first more novelty in my mind but once I used it it’s actually very helpful especially while fishing with the kids I ended up buying three more for the kids and gift for the buddy
