This works really well. We were able to sort over $200 if coins in a short time.

I bought these coin sorting trays because I collect the cash from the donations boxes around town for a non-profit org. The last person that had that volunteer job provided me with his electric coin sorting machine when I took over, but the coins easily jammed, and one denomination could fill up before the others, causing a problem. These sorting trays are ingeniously simple: toss your coins in, shake it around, and it separates the coins flawlessly due to the diminishing sizes of the holes in each of the four trays. You do have to limit how many coins you dump in at once because too many and the coins will pile up on the quarters and not drop down. I am always able to sort a full box of coins with just two loads. (I then weigh the coins on a postage scale and easily know when I have what is needed to fill a coin roll.) Great value, and even fun to use!

This works okay.Would be better if it had a lid as you really need to shake the coins.I ended up holding a tupperware lid on top and shaking it.I still needed to manually push the coins around to get them to all sort.Still, worth the money and effort, saves a lot of time if you have a ton of coins.

I've had the basic battery operated coin sorters in the past (too many to say) and they always jammed or mixed up coins or just stopped working. I was sorting coins by hand and it was tedious. I thought I would try this sorting tray. I was pleasantly surprised how easy and quick the process went. I did at least twice as many coins as I had done the day before sorting by hand, and did it twice as fast. So, yes, it does the job and no re-do or jamming.

I think the photo is a catfish. 😆 it is smaller than I expected, however, it might very well be my coolest" I don't need this thing!" Kind of purchase this year! It is pretty thick plastic but I think it needs some kind of latch for when you shake it... if you aren't vigilant you'll have a floor full of coins... but IT IS DEFINITELY worth every penny and that says a lot because I still think EVERYTHING SHOULD COST THE SAME AS 1992! I sorted THOUSANDS of dollars worth of coins in lightening speed with this thing! I give 5 🌟 🤩... and the coolness factor gets 1 million out of 5 stars. The photo is 1 of the trays. They're all the same size and stack the same ... my female hand is holding it for scale.

It's easy to use, but you have to work in small batches...takes forever, and you end up pushing the coins around by hand to make sure.

These worked very well in separating all the coins. It's loud, but the kids had fun.

-- because the diameter difference between the coins is negligible. (You gotta pluck loonies and toonies out the top tray, of course.) Cuts sorting time tremendously. Even kids would surely enjoy doing it. The plastic feels sturdy, but I wouldn't go too harsh on it. Great price for the service imo.
