Measuring sheet tool was not properly packaged and was left with permanent marks. No amount of cleaning will remove it. Other than that great product. Would be nice to get a better measuring sheet since that was the main reason I bought this kit.

The magnetic holders are fine, similar to others on the market. The centering tool is super useful, although the instructions were perhaps a bit light for those who aren't super familiar with card grading. Don't submit cards in magnetic holders to PSA --- they require semi-rigid card protectors.The magnifying glass is a true game changer. Instead of pulling every card out of the toploader and every card out of the sleeve, I can just do a once-over around the edges of the card with the magnifying glass and pick up things without all the extra work. I have been using it daily for around a week now, but in the last couple of days the light can sometimes flicker a bit. I believe it is likely due to an internal connection, so I plan on pulling it apart tonight to try and fix that. Otherwise, this is a great set to get individuals into honing in on good quality cards to submit for grading.

This is a great kit for beginners in card collecting and grading that I think would make a great gift because it has all the bases covered. You get a grading card to see how well-centered the card is, a magnifying glass with a light to examine card edges, a bunch of card sleeves and some deluxe magnetic hard plastic holders as well as some gloves. Aside from maybe a card binder, there's really not much anyone would need to get started with collecting and sorting their trading cards. For gifting, it would be nice if it came in a nice box with attractive graphics instead of a plain white one, but that's really a small complaint.
