Had purchase an electronic bottle opener several years ago and after a couple of friends admired it went to buy them one. The brand I originally purchased was no longer available so I chose this one.Not sorry! It works as great as my old one. So easy to use, especially if you have arthritic hands like mine.My friends were both pleased and love the ease which with they now can open a bottle of wineRemove the foil, place the opener on top of bottle, depress the down button and the opener does the rest.Could not be more simple. Since it is compact, it also doesn’t clutter up your counter.

I have had many different battery-operated wine openers but this one is a real winner. It is small, fits nicely on a countertop, and tucks into a small space on your counter. It comes with a foil cutter that snaps into the base, making it look like one unit. The foil cutter works great, but then comes the fun of pushing the button and having the spiral bit insert itself into the cork. Then, the unit goes to work and extracts the cork virtually effortlessly. I have used manual corkscrews over the years due to my bad experiences of very large battery-operated openers that took up too much space. This thing is powerful and small and extracts the cork so easily. I smile each time I use it. Very cool product at a great price.

Works well to open corked bottles of wine.I expected an electric opener to struggle after the corkscrew is in all the way into the cork and it is time to actually pull out the cork, but this unit breezed through and did not bog down at all. Once the cork is out, a simple toggle of the switch on the side of the unit spits the cork back out.The see-through area at the bottom of the unit lets you monitor what is going on at all times. What I really liked was how little space the unit takes up. I was replacing a "rabbit" which was clunky and took up a lot of cabinet space. This unit can stand up and the integrated storage of the foil cutter at the bottom works exceptionally well (see picture).My only gripe is that the unit does not have a charging shut-off. I left it plugged in for over 24 hours straight and the blue light never turned off or changed color to let me know charging was complete.

We drink very little wine. We used this when it first arrived after charging…it struggled but did the job. It sat for months so I charged it up, tried to open a bottle last night, nope. It was not even close to strong enough to pull out the cork. Wish I had tried it again within the 30 day warranty as it would have been returned!

Works as expected although its difficult to put it through its paces as that would require you to book yourself in rehab unless you are in the food and beverages industry and if that is you then this is the perfect item to compliment your establishment

How long it lasts remains to be seen. Our previous one, similar style but different make, was only used for approx 10 bottles a week but after 6 months the battery failed to hold a recharge.
