As titled; these C-Clips; once they go on your belt, they are NOT coming off without some very concerted force & effort, and maybe a curse word or two. :-)This is a very GOOD thing and is exactly what you should want in a product like this. If you want something that you are going to be donning & doffing frequently, you might want to look elsewhere.But if you want to know that whatever you mount this to, is clipped on your belt absolutely as secure as possible, buy these Cold Steel C-clips!!I mean; it's not *that* difficult to remove, but you definitely have to know what you are doing & it takes 2 hands.They came with hardware & all the stuff needed to throw them right onto a cold steel spike.Very nice clips, going to get the large ones next.Buy these.

These belt clips are the most versatile and adjustable of any I could find. (It sure would be nice if the industry could standardize the spacing of holes on the edges of Kydex knife sheaths.) I’m thankful for the adjustability. But keep in mind that you will be juggling a screw, a washer, a spacer, a ‘nut,’ the sheath, and the clip. You’ll need three hands, two small screwdrivers (magnetized is great), good lighting, and your neighbor Larry’s extra hand as well to hold everything in place while you get the threads started. But I now have a sturdy horizontally mounted small knife at my waist. I’m trying that out some days instead of a folding knife for everyday use. One of the main reasons I got this was that I can slip the sheath on and off of my belt between the belt loops without threading the whole thing onto the belt ahead of time. Works great!

I have owned dozens of knives with a variety of different belt clips. The Spyderco G clip is one of my favorite solutions. I had another sheath that needed a clip, so I purchased these Cold Steel clips knowing little about them because they are a fraction of the cost of the Spyderco (I could currently get 4 of these and have a few dollars spare change for the price of 1 Spyderco). When they arrived, I was quite pleased with the clips themselves. The spacing of the slits allows for versatile mounting and the clips seem to have a decent tension and are sized nicely for smaller sheaths. I'm happy with them. However, the mounting hardware that came with the sheaths was sub-par. Again, I have owned many sheaths with hardware as points of comparison, and the Chicago screws and spacers shipping with these Cold Steel clips is the worst I have seen. The diameter of the screws and screw heads make this way less sturdy. I swapped out the hardware for some other Chicago screws I had on hand and the results were much better. I definitely recommend these clips if you have other hardware laying around. If not, then my recommendation is a bit less enthusiastic.I'll note that I did not buy this for a Cold Sheath, so perhaps the smaller and less sturdy hardware is a compatibility choice for certain small Cold Steel models.

If you do not want this clip to cut the living hell out of your belt, I suggest putting some type of good tape on the heads that face the belt (silicone self-fusing tape, friction tape, rubber splicing tape, etc.). Regular electrical tape will come undone and come off almost instantly (unless you wrap it around the entire clip multiple times).Other than this fairly substantial blight, they're pretty sturdy and robust clips and work well with many different neck knife or smaller sheaths out there.

Sat down to use these C-clips for a recently purchased cold, steel knife. Had the right amount of spacers and screws, but missing all of the nuts. Kind of hard to use when you’re missing all the parts necessary to make it work.

Habe mir den Satz an mein Cold Steel mini Leatherneck gemacht. Funktioniert absolut gut! Man kann die Halterungen auch anders befestigen, so dass man die Scheide in einer anderen Position am Gürtel befestigen kann oder zum Beispiel an einer Rucksack trageschlaufe.

Un tamaño justo para cuchillosCon funda Secure-ex pequeña (habitualmente son cuchillos para llevar colgados del cuello). Asà se puede ajustar al cinturón firmemente. Viene con 2 tornillos y 2 2 tuercas para cada clip, asà como un montón de espaciadores que no son de utilidad.

It does its intended purpose. I just wish the bolts were not rounded. Flat would have been better. Bolts would scratch against the belt.
