This is a super cute set, but only one of the templates Is usable with Frixion pens—the heat erasable pens that are so good for embroidery and sashiko stitching. The pattern slots are too narrow for any implement I have in my home. Now I have to find something else. Arg.

These templates are thick and nice. They are covered in protective film that was easy to remove and once it's removed, they are clear to make it easier to position. They can be used with a sharp pencil, but I find that using some chalk dust is easier and much quicker to mark the fabric well enough to be able to do the stitching.

The templates are pretty nice. They have protective film on both sides, but it was exceptionally easy to remove. All of the templates were good except one that looked defective but it is still useable. It does work with Pilot Frixion Clicker 07 and with Frixion Fineliner pens - they both fit, but the openings are a bit too wide so the line wouldn't be centered
