The package was received in a timely fashion. The needles were in their original packaging. However, upon opening, one needle was already split at the eye. Working with 28 Aida and a single string, the needle was a perfect gauge. The center eye helps things go very quickly when stitching. Three drawbacks: With such a small eye, it tends to tear the single cotton thread. Thread conditioner helps mitigate this problem. The needles break easily! Down to the last one of three in 1 week. If you are stitching with a tighter grip on the needle, it will bend. This is not for every day stitching.

These are too brittle at the eye. Broke all of them nearly instantly -- the metal is just to thin.

The idea is beyond amazing but it snapped in the middle ON THE 3RD STITCH!!! I'm not even that heavy handed and my aida wasn't stiff either! Normal usage and couldn't even get a row done.
