Product Description

Colorado Boomerangs has been hand crafting real aerodynamic boomerangs since 1987. The weight and durability of the wood is important and you need real airfoils for each wing. Colorado Boomerangs are light enough to be able to generate a lot of spin with the throw and they are also durable to withstand hard landings. They are made from 10 ply airplane grade plywood imported from Finland. Remember, boomerangs are like little airplane wings. They need to "fly" and being both light and strong are important criteria.

The only reason I am writing a review for this is because it had one star due to ignorance of another review. This is a really great boomerang. If someone had done some research then they would know it is only capable for calm to medium winds. They would also know that it was made out of wood and wood just so happens to dent when it hits something harder than itself. Once you figure out the wind it becomes an easy to throw item. It came with a book of cool instructions. I would definatley recommend this to a friend. Its a bit fast, but with a good open field its great.

This is a great kids booemerang. It flies well and comes back consistently. The lift is pretty high so not designed to be thrown hard by an adult.

Used this boomerang in light winds and it worked quite wellI am new to boomeranging and I had good luck with this one first time out.But be careful as it is fast.

I didn't really like it, i do not have that much experience but i just think its hard to be accurate with it and its hard to catch but over its not my favorite

Paint cracked all over .. Rough areas in clear coat.. There is clear difference in quality from products offered on their website and ones offered here .. Unfortunately I'm abroad now and won't be able to return this. Definitely unsatisfied with this purchase.Note: I have SIX other boomerangs bought directly from the website, all great .. this one bought from amazon looks like a scrap piece.

The only thing I dont like about this boomerang is that (as someone already pointed out) it is fast... and painful, if you catch my drift. I like better boomerangs that have a a hover at the end. a LOT less bruises.However: if you want to try to make a boomerang do TWO circles, go out when it is very windy with this guy. I've managed to get two full circles out of it!

This boomerang is very dangerous. Trying it out and it hit my wife in her face. Cut her bad above the eye. Urgent care and stiches.
