I am a preschool teacher and I love doing my arts and craft project with card stock as well as I love making cards during the holidays these work wonders and plus came right on time and a decent price.

This bulk package of paper is heavyweight and multi colored. However, many of the colors are dark like black, navy, dark green and brown. I needed them to make note cards and had to use a white gel pen to use them for this purpose. I could get the same thing for less money locally too, so next time I will probably do that. But this will last me a long time since I cut them in half for use.

I read a few reviews saying this wasn't card stock; it was really just colored paper. That is false! I weighed the 300 8.5"X11" sheets and did the math. It is in fact 65lb card stock.I also appreciated the variety of colors and that I get 10 sheets of each color as opposed to only a few. No more worrying about running out of a color before my project is done.I use heavier weight card stock for the base of my cards, but then use this kind of thinner card stock to add layers of scenes, flowers, animals, etc. on top of the base.

At first, I thought how thin it was, then I changes my mind vs. the Astrobrights paper. This is just the same weight, except more construction paper-y feeling than smooth.Then I worked with it. Even after gentle coaxing into a fold, it tore. And the tear is grey. Can't use this for serious crafting whatsoever. For teachers, home crafters, etc. this would be great, but anyone looking for a decent cardstock for decent crafts, this is certainly not it.Sorry.
