Got these for my 15 year old, who is 5'7. They fit well and he likes them. Wore them in warmish MN over the holidays. Didn't get his feet wet when we walked in snow.

Trying these boots on upon arrival was noticeable when removing them from the box on how lightweight and the overall quality!!! The comfort and fit made the appreciation of having them and I ordered my a half size up for thicker socks. No more dealing with the little tree emblem foot wear!!!!!

Nice boot - very comfortable. I usually wear a 10 1/2 - ordered 11 w to leave room for heavier socks. Great fit with regular socks, a little snug with heavy socks.

These are great "sneaker boots" for winter. The sole is about as non-slip as you can get (I'm using these in place of hiking boots with Vibram soles which are awful). So far they are waterproof but I haven't been in a deep puddle. They keep my feet VERY warm to the point if I wear them inside after being outside (like walking to a hockey game) my feet sweat a lot, to the point where wool socks are too much. However considering their budget price, they were a great purchase.

I have only worn Rockport boots for over 15 years. I wanted something non-leather and with better tread. I have done two neighborhood walks of about 45 minutes in these. The weather was around feels like -15C and one walk was extremely windy. My feet didn't get cold, I felt no wind coming through. Grip on snow was good. On smooth ice it was still slippery, that seems reasonable. They are much more comfortable on the soles of my feet than the Rockport, and much more padded around the ankle. I had them tied too tight on the first walk, it was still okay but I had some fatigue due to that. Second walk with looser tie was better. They look extremely cool, and I am planning to buy a second pair in another color.
