Purchased the Columbia Boys' Rain-Zilla Ii Jacket in size XL which is equivalent to size 18 per the size chart. This seems like a great lightweight windbreaker type jacket with a thin layer of fleece liner on top and more water resistant material on the bottom. However, the big issue that we have with the jacket is that it seems to fit slimmer/taller bodies than average sized kids. The width of the jacket fits fine, but the length of the sleeves are extremely long. And the jacket didn't have much elastic on the sleeves despite it being an advertised feature on the description, so it would fall past his fingertips by several inches. If the sleeves were just a few inches shorter, this would have gotten a perfect rating.

Lightweight, not too thick, waterproof, great for rainy days! Well made, my daughter says it's very comfortable and she loves it! I ordered her a black one. And it's name brand! I think it's a great value!

I bought the XS for my almost 6 year old. It's a little big, but I wanted him to be able to grow into it. Unlike his other rain jackets it has a bit of fleece lining on the shoulders which will make it nice when it's a little colder. The blue color looks great and my son likes the feel.

This rain jacket fits true to size. It's very lightweight and easily folds up into a small backpack or purse.The jacket repeals heavy rain quite well. It's not lined much but still offered a bit of warmth against the cold rain.When hung up, this dries out easily on its own without needing to be put in the dryer.
