I absolutely LOVE this vest! It is warm and soft and cozy, fits like a dream, and has the best pockets! The two outer pockets are deep enough for a cell phone and keys, plus they zipper closed. The two inner pockets are even BIGGER! The photo shows my Kindle easily fitting inside one of them. Another favorite feature is the generous and well-shaped collar, which really keeps my neck warm and snug. The fit is very flattering and comes in slightly at the sides. I ordered this vest in my usual size (L) and it fits perfectly and very comfortably. The hemline lands right where my hip bends, which is exactly where I want it. For reference, I am 5'8" and 170 lbs and 38D. The main zipper closure and two pocket zippers are sturdy and glide smoothly. I can't say enough about this wonderful vest and how perfect it is for Fall/Winter wardrobe. It goes with everything, and makes my plain tops look sporty and dressed up. I'll be wearing this everyday! You won't disappointed, and I highly highly recommend it.

Columbia Women’s Benton Springs VestI am quite pleased with my Columbia vest. I am hard to please and have been looking for a long time for a well-fitting, nicely made vest. I like that it has a sturdy zipper, and the pocket zippers are an added feature. The pockets are warm and deep enough to keep your hands warm on those cold days.Some other brands of vests have seam binding sewn around the arm holes but not these. Columbia properly hems the arm holes in the same manner as they hem around the bottom edge. These are quality. The collar is thick, and I would have liked it half as thick but who knows, it might come in handy on those colder days. It washes up nicely leaving no wrinkles, so I hung it to dry. I would have preferred that the vest was a true dark black and not charcoal. Attached is my old vest and Columbia vest on top for a comparison.I am 5’7â€, 135 lbs. The medium is perfect. Not too loose and a heavy sweater worn under it works just fine.

I love the fit, so I will keep the vest. I am a curvy woman, so it's hard to find a good fit around the middle/abdomen. This vest is near perfect for me. It's soft and the fabric is thick enough. The one downside is the color. It is listed as "black," but it's really a dark gray. Dealbreaker, no, but it may bother some customers.

I’m pretty cold intolerant. When it gets below 30F, I wear this over my hoodie. The color is cute! The fabric is soft and moderately warm, but I wonder how long it would last.

I’m so happy with this vest! Keeps my core warm & cozy & fits well over my layering, which is includes a fleece lined tshirt, a thermal tshirt & a sweatshirt. I go above & beyond to avoid wearing a heavy coat, can’t stand feeling my arms restrained doing chores. I wear this vest all day unless i go outside for a long period of time which then requires a regular heavy coat. I ordered it on petite XL to be sure it would fit comfortably over my layers. I will get another one in another color next winter or if i see a price drop deal before then.

A nice heavy fleece. Nothing wimpy about this vest. The collar is high and stays up. The zipper is sturdy. The pockets are deep. Perfect for wearing in the house during cold weather, and perfect to wear outdoors in cool weather.
