These are small envelopes - make sure you are aware of the size prior to ordering. I specifically wanted envelopes in this size, but I could see others being surprised by their size if they don't pay attention to the dimensions.The envelopes are simple. The thickness is just right - not so think as to be stiff or non-pliable, but not so thin as to be easily torn or sheer at all.They are "gummed" but not self-adhesive. You still have to lick or dampen the gummed area to get them to seal. But once you do, they stay sealed easily and nicely. I have no concerns about any of the seals coming undone without force.These are a great size for small items like keys, seeds, folded up cash, gift cards, jewelry, etc. While you might think them small at first, you will likely find lots of uses for them once you have them.

Like their large envelope counterparts, these envelopes are sturdy, with a good paper thickness, and a usable gummed seal. I plan to use these envelopes for storing garden seeds harvested from my vegetables and herbs, but they can be used for a variety of other household needs. Hiding scavenger hunt clues, storing beads or other tiny crafting items, organizing my sticker collection.

The Columbian #3 coin envelopes are quality brown paper envelopes 4.25 X 2.5 in. in size. They hold small items such as coins. The flap is precoated with adhesive that is activated with water or saliva. To allow easy entrance to the envelope, the top 0.75 inches of the seam line is unglued. All in all, this is a very functional small envelope.If you have small items that can get lost easily, use these envelopes for safe keeping. Larger items cannot fit as they will distort the envelope and prevent the flap from sealing.Top rating.

This was just what I was looking for. I needed small envelopes for my jewelry business and these work! These are the perfect size for room keys and credit cards. These are perfect for me as I can fit rings and other pieces. The envelopes are gummed and are easy to seal if needed. The gum is ample and seals each envelope well. The construction is of somewhat dense paper, and is therefore not flimsy at all. If you need envelopes of this size, this is a good brand. They're very well made and just get the job done.

These little envelopes are handy for all kinds of things. Just the right size for gift card or cash gifts for holidays, theater tickets, small parts you don't want to lose ... just about anything. The adhesive on the flap is a good quality ... like you'd expect on an envelope. I've had cheap envelopes with sub-standard adhesive that doesn't stay closed, so I appreciate when they do it right.The paper is a good 28lb weight, which means these little envelopes are more rugged than a typical letter envelope. The 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 size fits a nice niche to keep your smaller items organized. Well made.
