Attention

These bits work very well on any tile or concrete. It helps to use water but work dry as well. They will break easily if you hit metal. I use them in the plumbing industry and I think they are worth the price.

Pretty good idea but the bit strength is pitiful. Now I have half a bit in aluminum and worse off. Have to order all new aluminum. Definitely would NOT recommend for any use.

I love these drill and tap combo bits. Before, I would have to look up the proper bit size for the tap I want to use, find the right drill bit and tap, then drill, then tap, a very time consuming process.With these combo bits, I can eliminate several steps, saving much time and eliminating the possibility of using the wrong drill size. I use these mainly on my variable speed drill press, so I can use a high speed for drilling, then turn the speed down for the tapping operation, periodically backing out the tap by hitting the forward/reverse switch to clear the chips. This is only necessary for harder materials such as steel; for aluminum and plastic, it’s fine to tap in one operation without reversing.Excellent bits, recommended.
