Very easy to set up. Be aware that it requires high quality 9 volt batteries to function. It took me going to get new package of batteries for expensive electronics to get it to stop saying “low voltage change battery and quality “ I’m paraphrasing it. But it works very well for the price. I feel my family is much safer with the devices.

These are fine. They were easy to plug in and I like that they have battery backup. I made a mistake - these detect natural gas and we have propane - my last house had natural gas. Since they also detect carbon monoxide, I’m going to keep them until I find something that detects propane. The only thing I don’t like so far is that when the battery is low, they start repeating the message about low voltage. It doesn’t stop. It just repeats itself back to back. I ended up removing the low battery and just leaving it plugged in to stop the message. Hopefully,My scatterbrain remembers to replace the battery without being prompted by the alert. I would have preferred a chirp, or an occasional alert similar to what my smoke detectors do.

I use propane gas to heat my rv and cook so this is must have! It was super easy to set up! It's loud enough to hear it from where ever you are but not too loud plus you can control you volume to best suit you!! It wasn't super expensive! The quality is very good!! It makes me feel safe with my kiddos!!

It is advertised as detecting combustible gas but the manual that comes with the product says it only detects carbon monoxide and methane and is not sensitive to other gases. Will be returning and finding another product.

We had a minor gas smell in our basement so decided we needed to have not only carbon monoxide detectors but also needed something to alert us to a natural gas leak. These plug directly into the outlet and take a 9V battery for backup if case of a power outage. I was glad it came in a 3 pack so I could place them throughout the house. I would buy this again!
