I love that these are strong, look nice, and don’t damage paint. Very rental friendly and useful! I used one to hang seasonal decor on my apartment door :)

These are perfect for apartment living. We just installed them, followed the instructions perfectly including using alcohol to wipe the walls down, setup our rod and curtains, and it held beautifully without strain or issue; definitely sturdy and the adhesion actually impressed my partner.Then, we realized the measurements were off, so we took the gamble and removed the side pieces we had hung to readjust. Going low and slow, we were able to take off the command strips without any damage to the wall or paint whatsoever. Yes, it left a little residue behind, but we wiped that down with alcohol again and there's no marks or wall stains left. We were able to reapply the command strips without issue, and they're hanging great!I did a LOT of research before I bought these, because we're really trying to minimize damage to the walls so we can hopefully get our full deposit back when we move out. So, for the reviewers that complained about these peeling paint, my thoughts are: pull straight down, SLOWLY, and you'll have ZERO issue.Note that I did buy two sets the first time to use 3 for the curtains in our living room. I wanted to make sure weight was evenly distributed and was cautious about how they'd hold up. I now do think you can get away with 2, but if you're like me go with 3 total and you won't have worries of the curtains falling down.Highly recommend. I'm now buying another set for our bedroom (have one extra, need two for the sides). Seriously cannot say how much I wish I did this years ago.

I think it's "user malfunction" on how to remove these things when I was actually ready to! They stick so well. I use them for jackets, bags, sports bags, etc. I like to put them on the inside of closet doors. But, when ready to move from one room to another, I ended up leaving these because I couldn't remember how to get the tape off. Alas, I've bought more and someone else has some good quality hooks as a result!

This item is a great buy and I have purchased it again since then. It is very durable and can hold large size wreaths and is very sturdy. It goes on very easy and comes with extra strips for replacement.

We bought this because of the review and because we are renting. Followed all instruction and as you can see in the picture the hook fell off and peel the wall painting.

The item was in bad shape, there are marks and paint on the hooks is removed.It shouldn’t be on sale if the used condition is that ugly

I'm a big fan of Command products, and these are particularly nice. They're metal, not plastic. Adherence is great, "install" is effortless and they look terrific. I only gave 4/5 stars for value for money, as these are pretty darned expensive. I'm hoping it'll be worth the extra money if I don't have to replace them in a year.

Love these hooks. Didn’t want to drill into new cabinets but needed a hook for towels. These work perfectly, are sturdy, and blend in with the cabinetry.
