I recently relocated to a new house and wanted to hang portraits and frames on the wall, but did not want to drill holes. I searched Amazon for products that can help hang the portraits without nails. That’s when I came across these hanging strips and thought of giving it a shot. I was able to place portrait of last supper in the dining room using these strips and they are very sturdy. Per my experience, two strips should be able to hold 3 - 4 lbs. If you want to hold more than that, I would suggest going for 4 strips. It’s very easy to use with one part getting onto the wall and other part on the frame, just place strips against other and apply pressure to ensure frame is secure to the wall. It’s also easy to remove with just lifting the picture off the wall, just that we need to pull up at an angle, not straight out. I have tried this strip on the wall that has normal paint, so not sure of its performance on glossy paper or wall papers. Per product details, approved surfaces are pained wall board, painted or vanished wood, glass, metal and tile. It specifically mentions not to use on wall paper. During usage, I did not use any cleaning materials and the strips has worked fine for me. I’ve had no problems till now. I highly recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t want to use nails or drill holes in the wall.Note: Please press the helpful button if my review was useful to you.

I recently moved into a new apartment and in the hopes of keeping my security deposit, purchased these strips. They work better than I expected, each set is advertised to hold 4 lbs and they do the job. Using these I have hung paintings, pictures, a very small mirror, a key ring/rack, and even a coat rack. I did not clean with alcohol or anything like they recommended, and I've had no problems so far. For hanging the coat rack I used 5 sets of these strips to be extra safe and it is surprisingly sturdy, even as it gets tugged and pulled from coats and backpacks every day it doesn't budge. In fact, the grip is so strong I can't separate the velcro to detach the coat rack from the wall, so I'm not sure how I'll pull the adhesive's tabs to remove these at the end of the lease, but we'll light that firecracker when we get to it. Word of warning however to anyone who may find themselves in a similarly odd situation, the building I am in is quite old and has been painted an absurd amount of times, and for one heavier picture frame (a vinyl record display), the adhesive of these strips held strong but the many layers of paint it was stuck to actually peeled off the wall and down went the frame. The command strip never let go of the paint, but it was too much weight for the paint to handle and the paint left the wall. Who would have known that could be a problem. If you're in an old building as well, keep in mind to add more strips to spread out the weight so this doesn't happen to you. Overall, I highly recommend these for anyone doing damage free hanging, these are quite effective.

I've used these to hang a gallery wall of pictures over a two story hallway. These strips work as advertised, but I didn't over-estimate the holding capacity, so I used an extra strip or two depending on the picture sizes. It's been over two weeks and the pictures are stable and no movement against the wall. The picture frames ranged from 13"x16", 7"x22", 8"x18", 14"x14 and smaller, both wood and metal finishes. The key is to make sure that there are no folding legs or outward protruding mounting hooks or brackets on your frames that would prevent the picture from resting flush on the wall, as outward force could make the frame detach from the wall. Up and down force is no match for these, they won't budge at all. Follow the instructions and you'll have no issues, buy extra mounts to ensure a snug and safe hanging.

These are great. Other than concrete walls, they stick securely to typical walls you'd have within your home. I've used these to hold up light-weight objects (cheaply framed posters) and heavier objects (family portraits in a high-quality frame). These aforementioned items have never fallen. Granted, I've used more strips than what was prescribed by the manufacturer, but whether that is necessary I'm unsure. I generally used four sets when hanging a picture (one for each corner), so if you do the same thing, you're only going to be able to hang three things per 24 count package. That's a bit pricey. As I remarked, these don't work well on concrete. I used them to hold up a light-weight key ring that would hold two sets of keys and an lanyard ID. Unfortunately, it came crashing down multiple times. (I used more strips than necessary, by the way.) Eventually, I was able to get it to hang but only by eliminating one set of keys and by diligently pushing the key ring against the wall daily to reinforce it. Regardless, I'd recommend them, but don't count on them if your planning on using them on concrete (or brick).

I bought this to hang frames on the walls because I want to avoid drilling holes. I had my doubts about how long and heavy it can handle frames but so far it’s been great. It makes hanging frames so much easier and damage free. It’s also easy to remove it from the wall leaving no damage.

used to hang dozens of frames. Three fell off inspite of using recommended number of tapes. So not quite sure how long the others will stay on the wall. now back to hooks For heavier pictures with glass.

Si on respecte la notice d'utilisation c'est top, résistant, adhère bien sur le cadre (pourtant toilé) et le mur, et une fois le montage réalisé (en respectant le temps de pose sur les éléments), ça ne bouge pas ! Top !
