Great functional Smokers Outpost... perfect for the garage. Came pre-assembled, except for adding the table, which just slides over the post. Love the table, just wish it was just a little bit larger. Still, the table is large enough to set drinks and cigarettes or other small items on. Without sand in the bucket, it is a little light but hasn't tipped over yet. It opens quite easily to access the pail inside and no problem to put back together.

So far it has stood up to 40 mile an hour winds! It looks great and keeps the smell confined. I bought it because I have asthma and my man smokes. He is considerate enough to only smoke outside. This works. No more butts on the ground!

This little table is working out just right in the backyard. I prefer the butts to go in here rather than in the BBQ grill which then requires cleaning when we want to use it for grilling food.

This was a replacement for the first little table I purchased that someone literally stole off my patio. This one has a little attachment ring built into the base. I chained this one to the patio.

This made in the USA product is working perfectly. It rained like gangbusters the other day and the pail inside barely got any of it. This has made the guests and residents here really help keep the place clean. It has reduced the butt-police work by great strides. I especially like the little tie downs on the bottom. Those help keep it in place as there is some sloping on the property. Then, the table is very handy for laying down smokes, drinks and even has acted as a catch all for some folks.

perfect for out back patio where my husband smokes. I got rid of our old stand up pedistal ashtray when I got this one. Perfect table next to our chairs out there. very durable. The only thing that my husband can't do with it is set a cig down while it is still burning. I would recommend keeping an old school ashtray nearby for being able to set a cig down. If someone puts their cig down on the edge of the table attached to it then it will leave a mark which would make it look bad. I really enjoy not having to empty the ashtray every few days anymore. Out of sight out of mind, and no smell next to the chairs. Thinking of buying another for the other side of the porch. My brother complemented it when he came over as well. :)

This patio ashtray is everything I expected it to be, and the table is a very handy feature.I knew the wind would blow it around, so before I put it to use, I put ballast in the base. I mixed up some concrete, and put that in the bottom, making sure that the concrete didn't interfere with the bucket. So far, no wind gusts have bothered it a bit.Without a ballast, and the weight of the table up high, even a moderate wind may start the ashtray rolling to places where it shouldn't be, such as into a pool. Gravel would also work for ballast, or a few pounds of nails, or whatever.I knocked off one star just because you do need add ballast to keep it upright in a strong wind. Otherwise, I consider it a great outdoor "butt kit" (to use an old Navy term. The price is also right, compared to the full size similar items found outside store entrances.

We purchased this, in part, as a lark, for our friends who smoke. I chose this one because of its practicality and nice look. When they came over last week for a BBQ, we showed them their anniversary gift. It got a good laugh out of them and, they were visibly impressed! No more NASTY butts on the deck!
