I have already used a few of these with my drill press. They are sharp and cut smooth. I would buy again.

Cut about 150 3/4" holes with this - cut like butter and still works well. Dimensions are true.

I'm restoring an antique 1800's cabinet. Oftentimes one needs to drill a flat-bottomed hole - and - Forstner Bits are the obvious choice. I had to 'snug up' a slightly warped side of a cabinet. I didn't want to used wood screws but had no other choice. So - I drilled into the bottom of the cabinet - about six inches in the side - with a 1 1/4-inch bit and glued in a 1 1/4-inch oak dowel - to 'turn' end grain into cross grain so that the wood screw would hold. Drilled a pilot hole - inserted the wood screws - and - hid beneath a length of antique moulding. Worked great. Hopefully the cabinet will last another couple hundred years.

Would work better if they had a feed screw on them

I used the 3/4" bit to bore holes in a 3/4" thick melamine covered particle board. I made 2 portable "bench dog" boards and was not impressed with the bits quality. I tried different speeds and it struggled considerably more than another brand I had purchases/used. I haven't used on 'normal' wood so can't compare or review it for that. As for using with melamine I would recommend a different brand.
