This is a great sounding cam. I installed it in a 1967 283 Chevrolet small-block and put it in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. It hits a mean lick without having to do any kind of head work. The heads are stock 283 heads as I just built this motor for the sound to make the old 57 Rumble LOL.

i have always ran comp cam an lifters! the first one of these i got the lifters was clacking, i took the lifters out and a couple of them didnt have springs in them from factory, so they colapsed, i sent it back an they sent me new cam an lifters, now these lifters are ticking comes and goes, im 55 been doing this all my life dunno whats up with comp hydraulic lifters anymore! i hate leaving bad reveiws to, but this is crazy
