Not a licensed pro but I have replaced over 50 touch screen for tablets / iPads and cell phones for friends and friends of theirs.For the average consumer it is not hard. Use a hair dryer (if you do not have heat gun), business cards or playing cards, and watch screwdriver kit. **wear eye protection and gloves**Only warning I have is the home button finger print ID, will not work without the original finger print ID component on the home button cable.To fix the problem you will have to use tools for component replacement (Flux, soldering iron, solder, and microscope). Move the finger print ID component from the old home button cable to the new replacement screen. “Orâ€â€¦ If the old power button / cable are in great working condition, you can transfer them to the new replacement touch screen. You will need exacto knife and very strong glue.

To install is a little bit tricky. There are 4 screw holding the LCD screen 2 of them hiding under black robber. And the cord of the main button is folded in the wrong way don’t unfold it otherwise you will break it. Just put it the way it is under the screen. It’s better to detail cleaning the broken screen debris after you take the LCD out to not damage it. The rest is easy. I fixed my iPad it’s like brand new even I’m not a professional.

Fits exactly. Looks exactly like the original display. It’s also nice that it comes with the tools. Would definitely recommend.

The adhesion ISNT the best for this screen, but additional bonding in the corners makes it perfect. The packaging and tools were awesome, everything connected easily, and this was one of the quickest screen repairs I’ve done!My only issue is this digitizer seems to be a bit unresponsive to touch in some areas. The old (cracked) digitizer still responds/responded in the same areas when the old digitizer was plugged into it... so that tells me this digitizer has some faulty spots - around the bottom of the screen and toward the center.Otherwise; the screen and tools were all great and the product was packaged very meticulously.

I am impressed. The only issue that I have with this kit is my screen is still acting strange. Some buttons will not work.
