Cable length was perfect. Fit right into the tach drive on engine nice too. Would not slide into the tach gauge which the old cable had just been slid out of with ease. Only difference I found to cause it not to fit into the tech was that the original cable had rounded corners on the edges of the square drive. I used calipers and a small file to match the replacement square drive profile to the factory cable end. slid in fine after that.The issue was not bad to fix and compared to prices of other cables, I am happy with the purchase.

The end of cable that goes to the gear drive on engine will not screw on it wants to cross thread. Will have to return

This was supposed to fit a 255 Massey tractor, engine side nut was wrong thread.
