I bought these to shore up the wheel of a toolbox on uneven garage concrete. Then I used them with a miter saw and stop block for pinpoint accuracy. Then I used them on a DIY workbench. Once you have these, you will use them everywhere you need to make things just a little straighter, more secure, or true.The material isn't wood, and it isn't plastic. It is durable, but also seems impervious to moisture or temperature. Have been very happy so far.

You know how the toilet wobbles? Well you need to take care of that, especially if you have women folk in the house. As it wobbles it crumbles the wax ring that keeps the sewage off your bathroom floor. Tap one of these in, snap it off and you've got a solid seat!

The shims worked very well. They don’t retain water, they have not cracked. They cut (trim ) easy with utility knife.I am installing 4†x 4†deck posts. The shims were used to plumb the posts

Heavy duty composite shims, just wish they snapped easier. Need to make a few passes with a utility knife to break.Purchased for a deck I’m building and would not recommend for that purpose.May be great for anything other
