This compost Spreader was easy to put together. It took about 30-40 min. It puts down an even spread of compost. It is sturdy. The drum is connected to the frame by cotter pins. To me it was worth the cost.

Need large handle, after pushing roller your hands/ pomps develop busters. Overall gets the job done.

Product worked as advertised but the handle is rickety and no matter how tight you get the bolts you can't fix it. A Problem that could be solved by the manufacturer easley should they want to. Used this to spread pet moss which is very lightweight on other heavier media it probably won't work.

I love this spreader. I did ask a helper to assist to assemble and we did use some of our own tools in order to ensure super tight. Made of durable and heavy materials which are welcomed to easier completion of garden tasks such as compost and fertilizing spreading. Also useful for planting grass seed for covering with peat.Happy to have this tool, have been gardening a lot of years, and this is a useful tool for certain specialized tasks that it really solves the problems for me. I wish I had one years ago!Highly recommend the investment!!

Once assembled this spreader does the job. It is sturdy and easy to use. Assembly was straightforward and the directions were okay. It is ideal for smaller areas and works well with different fertilizers, mulch and manure.
