The microscope seems to be decent and easy to use. It was dirty when we took it out of the package. Had to clean it before we could use it. The worst part was we didn't receive everything we were supposed to get in the description. We received 25X eyepieces instead of 50X so the magnification is half what I expected. We were missing the 2X mirror eyepieces as well. We were also supposed to get a pack of 30 pre made slides. We only got 3. Haven't had time to try out the camera. If we received everything we were supposed to get, I would probably give it 5 stars.

this scope has never worked. what a waste of money! don't buy. no help from anyone I sent many emails and I have been totally ignored!

Gems, minerals, and various fossils are of interest, so taking a closer look has always been something I've wanted to do. No squinting through one eye piece, either!I'll sacrifice some of the not so cosmetically beautiful pieces and shave off/break off a tiny chunk to inspect. i've even ground basic elements and viewed them dry and with a drop of color water to enhance clarity. The images are amazing (natures work) and the quality of the pictures through the microscope are crystal clear (no pun intended). I have yet to use the PC connection because I dont need to showcase or record any images, but this feature will come in extremely handy if you are teaching your kids or for use in a classroom at any level.Highly, highly recommend for STEM students and amateurs/hobbyists of any branch of science!
