I didn't expect much for this price but didn't want to keep buying canned air dusters. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the suction on this thing is pretty strong. I used it for cleaning the interior of my computer and keyboard and it was very effective. I haven't yet tried the "blower" mode because I don't want to just move the dust into the air. Before buying this unit I was using canned air dusters. The problem with the canned air is that it blows the dust around and you have to keep replacing air cans. This gadget is good because you can recharge it. You can also keep it plugged in (recommended) when using the vacuum feature. It also comes with a nice hand tool for lifting the keys off of your computer keyboard to get underneath.

I'm shocked how strong this small vacuum this is, it is ideal for electronics and I really won't be buying aircans again it blows hard too. I will be needing more filters though, so I hope those are sourceable on Amazon.

TLDR: Good performance, decent build quality FOR THE PRICE ($30 at the time of reviewing), but lacks a basic features like low battery warning or a protective filter for air compression mode.I chose the "famaster" mainly because I've been looking for a decent compact air compressor, but found myself using the vacuum function a lot more! The performance of this device can be chalked up as "competent enough". When using vacuum mode, you'll be able to pick up crumbs, dirt, and even larger bits like popcorn kernels, and plastic bits. Though it should be noted you may have issues with grabbing finer dust on hard surfaces. The build of the machine is plastic but feels solid enough, it doesn't have that rougher/thinner plastic you see on cheap tools at your local 98c plus/discount store. The air compressor packs a decent punch, and works well with the longer straw attachment mounted on.This however is where the problems start, because in order to use the air compression mode, you have to unmount the vacuum attachment completely , leading the air intake to be exposed. This is a problem as it exposes the insides of this machine to dust, dirt, and other harmful particles and bits that will eventually get lodged into the moving parts of the machine (which can cause overheating, and jamming). The manufacturer clearly understands the fault in this design and did not include a filter attachment made specifically for air compression mode. This flaw essentially compromises the product's life-span, making it self-destruct slowly if the user chooses to use the Air-compression mode frequently.Lastly the "Famaster" also seems to be missing any kind of battery indicator, even a "low battery" light would be welcomed. I point this out because while cleaning, you'll eventually reach a point where the "Famaster" will come to an immediate stop, and it won't start up again until you connect it to it's rather short charger.Which also leads me to wonder why they had to use a weird barrel connector to usb cable. At this point manufactures understand no one wants these weird proprietary connectors, because they are not easy to find and are therefore an inconvenience. Furthermore, manufacturers need to stick to common connectors, they're cheap for you to manufacture, and easier for your consumers to replace.

I opened the box to find everything totally packaged and organized the way an unopened brand-new product should be packaged. The clear vacuum canister had a chip broken off on the edge where it’s supposed to lock on to the handle.Instead of getting a refund and waiting another week, I just duck taped it. It’s ugly and frustrating to remove/reattach but i don’t care. It’s a lesson learned to buy something good.If you’re looking for an okay cheap rechargeable duster, however, this is actually great. Unfortunately I bought it for vacuum half.

After years of dealing with condensed air spray cans and their chemical residues, this seems like a great way to regularly maintain my electronics. My home office is in a tiny room but still manages to collect dust like crazy. My desktop has fans and filters that need to be regularly cleared of dust on top of having my keyboard and workspace also needing maintenance. Thanks to the many accessories provided with this duster, I can easily blow, vacuum, and brush away loose dust and lint. Obviously, you'll want to do this outside - just make sure to unplug all your computer stuff. The duster has a long-lasting battery - I've only charged it fully like twice since I got it. It's a great portable cleaner not just for PC and laptops but also for your car's dashboard. My only issues are that the suction power isn't super powerful so you'll need to make a few passes to pick everything up and also that the smaller attachments can get lost so you'll want to keep them all together in the same box.
