They claim that it works for both Laptop AND MacBook ... but it only has the standard locking mechanism that is suitable for laptops and doe NOT work for MacBooks since they do not have the oval opening that fits these locks since 2011!!

Very thin cable, easily ripped out or off. Only preventing a small child or gremlin from running off with it.
