This is a very useful light. Love the different settings for the light. I wish the clip that attaches to the laptop was a little better, design, but otherwise it's great. I recommend this light, it has been working really good for me.

I have 5 laptops in my house and most do not have backlit keyboards. When my family is using their laptops and we have no or minimal lights on, it is difficult for them to see their keyboards, especially since most are black keys with the thin white letters. I have tried the little USB led lights but they did not work very well. I seen this light bar and these are the best thing since sliced bread. We like them so much, I bought 3.You can control the brightness and color temps. Even though the low brightness is still pretty bright, it illuminates the keyboard completely. It is not blinding to people sitting on your left or right because the light shines down and is adjustable as well. It does not block your camera, but you do have to lift the light to use your camera, but no big deal. The price is a great deal too. And it is easy to remove if you want to take the laptop with you.

I was worried that the light might be very cheap-looking and flimsy but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. It is of excellent quality for the price and has more useful settings than is required or expected.

I was spoiled, my old laptop had a lighted keyboard. Sadly, my new one doesn't and it drives me nuts. I had purchased another brands screen light. After a few weeks the light became slack, the switch rarely worked and then 3 months later it died.So far I love this one , its made better, seems sturdier and brighter.
