This works perfectly. Luckily I didn't find any fleas over weeks of use. We don't have fleas in my area but I took my puppy to Vetco for puppy shots and microchip and they put him on a very dirty towel. The next day I had little spots on my lower legs and the puppy was scratching which he wasn't doing the day before the vet visit. I bought this to make sure I got all possible fleas off of him and my other dogs. I spent so much time cleaning my house and giving my pups flea baths because of poor vet hygiene.

I got this not for fleas and ticks, but to help me better groom my dogs. A flea comb lets me get up any dandruff, and finer, undercoat hairs which a brush might miss. The ConAirPro comb does pretty well at that. But, it doesn't seem to grab everything easily. I have to make several passes. For that reason, I'm skeptical about it working fantastically if it's actually used as a flea comb. I had a finer comb previously. It was made by another brand, but it eventually broke after a few years. This comb is its replacement. I do like the grip and it's OK for grooming, but I've definitely used better combs on dogs.
