It connects to the float inside the condensate pump and automatically starts and stops the pump based on the water level. This ensures the pump activates when needed and automatically shuts off when the water level drops, preventing over-draining and energy waste.

Perfect one to one replacement switch for our Little Giant VCL-24ULS Condensate Pump. Take the old switch out, add the 2 screws/bolts from the old switch and then reattach the 2 wires to the new switch. Put the clamp back on the float shaft and you're good to go. About a 10 minute repair. This switch saved me from buying a whole new condensate pump and now I have a spare backup switch as well with this 2 pack.

After my pump failed, I learned that this switch is the most common reason for failure. You can buy a whole new pump, or with a simple screw driver, swap out this cheap piece and keep your perfectly good pump going!

The polarity reversed on my Little Giant VCMA-15ULS switch after 15+ years. Unit was running when float was down (constantly) and would shutoff if I manually lifted it. Simple replacement and back in action. I’ll now return the new condensate pump I bought in a pinch to hold me over till this little switch arrived. Time will tell if it lasts
