I have two of these rigs in service. I first bought a black one for use with the fire department as a radio and utility rig for exterior operations. I bought a second for use with the US Volunteer Rangers. Both rigs have stood out as some of the most useful, compact and comfortable load bearing equipment I have ever used. The rig interacts perfectly with a backpacks straps, sternum strap and kidney belt and still allows access to vital equipment. On the OD green one, I have my radio pouch, a utility pouch and my Esee 4 knife. In addition I was able to attach a Gerber tool and a surefire light to the front of the utility pouch. In the utility pouch I have a set of compact binoculars, a compass, map section and energy bars along with a survival straw. I also have a magazine insert which allow for 3 AR style magazines. With all this, the rig is comfortable enough to wear all day and gives me a lot of gear right at my fingertips. Buy one and don't look back!

for small lightweight use (a couple pistol mags and/or small pouches) this platform is awesome. I have 2 double pistol mag pouches and a shotgun pouch and it still has room for another small pouch (4 molle strips wide, 3 panels tall) free.I had been using a Full Clip light rack/rig but found the upper chest portion hard to get snug to the body. This platform gets nice and snug, and I feel much more mobile. The bottom-most strap works nicely with a belt mounted dump pouch.I really like the swivilockster buckles with the criss-cross straps since it allows them to fasten tight to the body while still being pretty comfortable.I had thought about making something like this, but buckles alone cost around $2-$4 each, so for about $25, can't beat the price of this.other thoughts:padded shoulder straps would have been nice, but would also limit the adjustability. I may end up making a custom shoulder/upper back piece since I'm not a big and I have to have the straps almost as tight as they conveniently go.

Great chest rig! Nameplate space, multiple pouches can be added. The only downside is that I have a large stomach and it looks a bit awkward on me. But it does fit and I'm 300 pounds! Give it a go if you want a lightweight kit.

I have been using this rig for two years for search and rescue. It is very convenient to interchange pouches as my gear changes, or as my tasks dictate. It fits very well and is very adjustable. I have worn it in the summer and in the winter with bulky jackets or layers. I also wear this in connection the Condor hydro harness which is also wonderful. The are both very durable as in SAR we are constant going through dense brush, briars, vines, etc...

It's a little bigger than I imagined. It's just the right size, though, and I'm glad I didn't try to buy a bigger one. I'm 5' 6" with a 30" waist and I had to tighten the straps up quite a bit, but it works fine. I got this instead of a vest or a plate carrier because I wanted a rig that I could use in conjunction with a backpack. I tried it with my SOG ninja day pack and it seems fine. It's less comfortable than not having it on, but it's not bad.I wanted a rig that would be low-profile and ride high enough that it wouldn't interfere with using the handgun on my belt. This passed the test. I can carry my Ruger LCR in a leather OWB holster and the chest rig doesn't interfere. It's well-designed and I like the swivel buckles. The map pouch is a nice touch and is the full size of the chest panel. I think you could even stick a kevlar panel in there if you found one the right size.I don't like the placement of the front shoulder strap buckles. They seem like they'll get in the way of shouldering your rifle on a smaller person like me. Not a big deal if you're getting this for airsoft, but a little more so if you plan on running it with your 12 gauge like I do.Molle loops and front velcro are great. I don't think you can get better than this for the price. I would have no reason to doubt it if someone took the tags off and told me it was a $100 piece of gear.

Needed a rig for AK mags and most were lots more $ or didn't match what I needed. Only needed 3 mags with fast access and not a lot of other things hanging off the rig. This, along with the pouches I found on Amazon, works like rigs costing 4-5 times as much.I suspect what I bought might only be for Airsoft, but since I'm not OAF, these were good enough for the matches I shoot.

Exceeded my expectations. Fit's my chest with room to spare while wearing my pack. It is a neat idea when you need extra real estate for those quick access items. Well made, good stitching, the molle is properly spaced and the OD color is the correct shade. The only problem I've run into is deciding what gear I want to carry. Decisions, Decisions. Good piece of gear, Good price, well worth it.

I purchased this smaller chest panel, and will likely get several more to store in cache points or storage areas, and carry one in trunk of car or cab of truck, and I like it due to its size, and ability to mount two or three Molle AK or AR pouches (I have both rifle types) . This purchase is my first of this Modular Chest Panel, and I paced two Condor AK/AR chest pouched in the center. Can add pistol mags pouches to each side if need be, and a Morakiife with a little trimming of the belt catch to each side with a dremel to fit the molle webbing. As I primarily train to carry 5.45X39 and 5,56X45 ammo and mags, I will be able to carry a couple of mags in the pouches and many more in a back pack easily. This is a good buy and I very much recommend it if looking for a light, adjustable chest rig for lighter loads of mags and ammo. Carrying a couple of mags only one can move faster, and get prone closer to the good earth or pavement if required. I like this chest rig and recommend it.

Arrived faster then listed by amazon. Condor makes great products so I have no complaints and Colonel Mustard is a solid dependable store, much so that I went to their website and created an account and will now deal direct.
