  • SELF-TAPPING-Taps threads directly into masonry and requires no other anchor

Applications
The anchor is made from 410 Stainless Steel, and is Silver Climaseal Coated. This anchor is designed for use in Concrete, Block, and Brick.
Environment
The anchor is designed for use in a Moist environment.
Head Style
The anchor is a Hex Washer head and is designed to allow the head to sit on top of the surface of the item being attached.
Hole Diameter/Bit Diameter
The anchor requires a 3/16" hole to be drilled in the base material (Concrete, Block, and Brick). The hole should be drilled with carbide tipped bit that meets ANSI standards and used in a hammer drill.
Driver Required
A 5/16" nut driver is required for driving the anchor into the base material.
Diameter of Anchor
The diameter of the anchor is 1/4".
Length Anchor
The length of the anchor is 1-3/4"
Thread Length
The length of the threads on the anchor is 1-3/4" in length.
Minimum Embedment
The minimum anchor embedment into the concrete is 1". Therefore, the anchor must be installed so that a minimum of 1" of the anchor is embedded into the concrete.
Maximum Fixture Thickness
The maximum fixture thickness or the maximum thickness of the material being fastened for a anchor is 1/4". This will ensure that the minimum embedment of 1" will be met.
Fixture Hole Diameter
The hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 1/4" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 5/16".
Spacing between Anchors
Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 4" from each other when measured center to center.
Edge Distance
It is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 3" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.

These worked great. Very strong. People need to understand that 400 series stainless steel can show surface rust, and is somewhat magnetic. The supplied drill bit is pretty pathetic, but will work if you are patient.

Use it on any job that requires tapcons. Instead of using the ones that get easily corroded, I use this ones. Great.

I have used these extensively over the past two years on my beach house in Florida. They have held up WELL, showing minimal corrosion in the salt spray environment.

I bought a 5.5mm hammer drill, at was hard to find that drill locally. I order on line but it take five to arrive. You might want to offer that item as an option,

Living in a salt air environment, less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, I was tired of “off the shelf” tap cons rotting away in a couple years. Got these and replaced the anchors around my house … hurricane shutter tracks, equipment anchors, anything I have tied into concrete. So far, they look good, and I’m hoping that they can resist this highly corrosive environment.

Supplier advertises that the screws are stainless steel and they rust in a very short time.I bought same screws in January 2023 and installed 123 screws with in a month they all started to rust. The screws are painted a stainless steel colour.I consider this dishonest and Amazon should investigate all the supply that claim that their concrete screws are stainless steel. There could be a liability on the part of Amazon and the suppliers if the screws fail in a short time the failure causes injury. When I complained to Amazon the first time they said the supplier would contact me, they never did so I wrote a similar review and their response was my review was inappropriate.I hope Amazon will take this review seriously and remove these dishonest suppliers from their site.

Used these to mount my 30lb flexzilla retractable hose reel… 3 weeks later they snapped and it came crashing down. Definitely not rated for anything heavier than a security camera
