Paper gets wet.
Paper gets wet and compacted inside the housing. Paper can be made to fit into any space but is unreliable at best.
Paper clips break off.
Anything made of metal is not a good idea. They can and will break off causing an electrical short.
Pin break off.
Spreading the pins weakens the pins and they will break off!
Other items sometimes don't fit.
Other items may work IF they fit.

This product does exactly as advertised. No more trying to find the right size or shape piece of whatever to get a good connection from truck to trailer. Excellent product, perfect design and way more durable than I ever imagined

Been a trucker for over 30 years. I've always used match sticks or cardboard to fix loose pigtails. When I saw these I had to try them. And I will say they work like a charm and I haven't lost 1 yet!! I highly recommend these for every truck driver!!

Cheap little invention stops trailer lights from flickering and blinking . Always good to have in your truck in your junk box because you never know when you're going to run into a trailer with a loose electrical box and the solve the problem immediately and you can keep it with you. Excellent product

Could be cheaper for what it is..Called the manufacturer to see about bulk for my buisness and there was not much difference per piece. Not going to push this product.

Great. I drive a truck in town. This is great for the older trailers that are loose on the power connection.
