I bought this hat for my 4 yo active son, especially for boating. What I like about this hat is: 1. Head part is adjustable so it fits my son's head perfectly 2. Chin strap keeps hat on son's head, so it won't fly away even with a strong wind on a high speed boat. 3. It won't get wrinkly after getting wet and dries very quickly. 4. It provides nice shade around face and neck. 5. It's breathable and keeps head cooler. 6. Very light weight and foldable. 7. It seems comfortable. My son would keep it on all day.What I don't like about this hat? - So far I don't see any negative point.I was thinking of buying Sunday Afternoon hat but I'm glad I bought this hat, although I know Sunday Afternoon is a great brand. I would totally recommend this hat for any young kids.

When I tell you he gets so many compliments on this hat! It’s perfect for warm weather! Breathable, thin, drys fast. Wide brim keeps the sun off his face, ears and shoulders. The neck flap keeps the sun off his neck and the top of his back

This is a great lightweight hat. The brim stays up even when it gets a bit wet and the back protects their little shoulders and neck. My younger son who doesn’t like to wear hats for long periods of time would keep this one on. Although, we did experience some color fade because we accidentally left it out for too long in the sun because was wet. For size reference, my boys are two and four and it fits after adjusting the strap. Still has lots of room for them to grow.

I bought this and the Sunday Afternoon hat to compare. My daughter (youth xs clothing sized) instantly preferred the look and fit of this one.Quality is good, with a lightweight fabric, but it holds its shape around the brim in front. It functions well, with a cinch in the back of the hat to adjust the circumference; however, there is elastic that allows flexibility around back of the head as well.The chin straps are adjustable and removable, but do not have the safety clasp. I do wish the brim were just a tad wider to offer more coverage (the Sunday Afternoon one was wider than this one).Bonus that it was half the price of the other. Bought this for my son, he loves putting it on when we go out! It's great coverage for his neck and does a great job blocking the son and covering his face too. We used it in flordia and it's breathable and safe to get wet. I bought an orange one because it makes it super easy to spot him if he's on playground equipment or little further ahead then me. Really love the hat!

I love this hat. I got the size 2-6. My son is 22 months old and the hat adjusts to fit him PERFECTLY!!! I LOVE how the hat has the string that can tighten under his chin, as he doesnt like hats and likes to rip them off. The brim is nice and large so it shades his face really well. I love that this hat will last him for many years to come since you can tighten or loosen the head part. Great product and even better price! I just wish they had more colors!
