The lids work really well. My husband put them on the buckets for me. He said they fit very well and he never wants to have to take them off. Airtight seal to help food last and stay fresh. I love the colors. There were there were 3 lids that said gamma 2 and the others just said gamma. Not sure if they were supposed to be different styles. Not a huge deal to me. Great value for money and very durable. This product will last.

Install on the buckets works best after removing the screw on tops, use rubber hammer to snap outer ring in place.

I've used all of the lids from this pack and every one of them has sealed firmly to the buckets (tractor supply food grade). But every one of them has had the upper seal fall off the lid once they are screwed on and off a couple times. Once you tighten them down by screwing on the lid and open then back up, this stretches the thin seal around the removable lid. Reinstalling the lid again makes this seal bind and slip out of its channel ruining the potential airtight seal. I'm on the hunt for a replacement seal and won't be buying these lids again unless this seal issue is resolved.

Bought these for buckets to store emergency food. They work really well on my 5 gallon pails.

These lids are listed as air tight and waterproof. They ARE NOT. The outside rim is extremely difficult to put on the bucket. I'm installing the lids on a 5 gallon BPA free FDA food grade bucket. Once you do get the rim on, the lid spins on. The white seal on the lid does not make a tight seal against the rim. They are "nicer" lids than snap on lids, but are definitely not air and water tight. For around $12 a lid, I totally expected and deserved more. I bought a (6) pack of assorted colors. I will not buy again and am considering returning.
