My old Foredom TX motor foot pedal speed controller was worn out so I bought this new one from Amazon. It works great, the speed control is precise and instant and I like the pedal model much more than the desk top version with the hand controlled speed dial. This is a 4 amp controller and it’s made for Foredom motors so don’t try to use it on a 15 amp buffing or grinding motor, it won’t work.I did make a mistake and ordered the FCT-1 foot controller which is the wrong controller for my TX motor. The controllers are same, the difference is simply the plug connectors. The TX motor requires an IEC 15 connector not a standard 3 prong grounded plug (see photo). The FCT-1 controller uses a standard Nema 5-15p plug. Rather than exchange the controller and pay the freight for the exchange, I simply used an 15-IEC3 15 Amp to NEMA 5-15P audio patch cord I had on hand.Worked perfect, saved me the freight and I avoided making an exchange reducing work for Amazon.

Works with my Dremel 2001. Now I can activate and somewhat control the speed of my Dremel without having to take my hands off my project! Sewing machines have this feature native to the machine. Dremel still hasn’t figured it out.The old way of using a Dremel is to turn on your tool to the speed that you want - it’s going to stay at that speed until you bring your hand back to the he switch. Reposition your hands with your tool going max speed. Do your work. Take your hand off your project. Turn off your Dremel. With this pedal, position your project and put your hands where you need them to be. Tap your foot to turn on the tool to the desired speed. Release your foot (don’t need to move your hands) when you need the tool to stop. So much easier.

It works but the cord that connects to the hanging engine is too short!! I literally have to place the engine on the floor to use it.

I purchased this product for my pasta machine with a motor that I use for polymer clay. Now I can control the speed with my foot which frees up both hands so long strips of clay can be fed into the machine easier.

I use this pedal to regulate the speed of an electric bobbin winder which spins so fast, the thread you're winding will slice right through your finger. This pedal allows me to wind the thread at any speed I want. It is truly amazing, I wish I'd discovered it years ago.A word of advice, my bobbin winder has an outlet with 2 outlet spaces, one marked "motor", the other "light". The pedal that came with the machine can only be plugged into the "motor", it will not work when plugged into the "light". When I plugged the Foredom C.FCT-1 into the "motor", it did not work. In order to work, it has to be plugged into the "light" outlet... A total mystery to me, but the important thing is it works, and exceptionally well.Incidentally, the pedal is larger than I expected. The foot in the picture is a size 7

Been using one for many years. The only reason I purchased another one is because I needed it for another machines I was sharing the first one with. Got bugged having to move one between the two machines.

The pedal is a bit big and the travel distance from slow to fast is wide, so you have to really lift your foot high to get the full range of speeds which is not comfortable for long use. There is also a bit of a delay when engaging so if you want to pulse it doesn't work as well.
