When fully extended, it fluffs up nicely, adding to the overall coziness.One thing I was impressed with is the brilliant design—the hardware and legs are neatly contained within one of the seat cushions. It’s such a clever touch that makes the unboxing and setup much easier. However, I highly recommend reading the entire instruction booklet from front to back before starting assembly. It will save you time and ensure a smooth process.As someone who is 6'1", I can lay down on it with ease, and I’ve even comfortably slept on it with both of my kids. It takes a bit of effort to open, but once converted, it’s perfect for a restful sleep. I recently got the Velvet Convertible Futon Sofa Bed, and it’s been great! The velvet is super soft and comfy, making it really enjoyable to sit and lounge on. The high-density foam cushions are very supportive and help you relax after a long day. My dog loves sitting on it too!What I like most is how adjustable it is. The backrest has three settings – perfect for sitting and watching TV, lounging while playing video games, or sleeping. The armrests also adjust to four different positions, so you can find the most comfortable setup for anything you’re doing.The futon feels sturdy and well-made with its wood frame and iron legs. It’s stable but still light enough to move around easily. It’s also a great size for small spaces – perfect for apartments or guest rooms. When it’s a bed, it’s spacious enough for a good night’s sleep. I have mine set up in my basement entertainment room. I considered getting a second one for my home office, but it's so comfy I probably wouldn't get any work done!Putting it together was really easy and took me no time at all. I like how the legs and screws came packed inside a zippered pocket underneath one of the bases. This allows the packaging to be really compact, which is great for the environment as the box takes up less space while shipping. However, since it's so well packed, make sure to give the cushions time to decompress after opening them up for maximum softness!Overall, this futon is stylish, comfy, and practical.
