I ordered this because I thought the idea of the conversion chart at hand would be nice. Let me start by saying that the chart does look nice and is very convenient. I will also say that the look of hte board itself is very nice and will fit into pretty much any decor style. Finally, keep in mind the price point which is very reasonable for something that is both decorative and utilitarian. Now with those points said, there are some issues which I want to point out. First, when I assembled the stand, the screws cracked the board even though they were predrilled. I have spent over forty years building both privately and as a job, so I know how much pressure to apply so that is not the issue. I think the main problem is that they use to large of screws for the size of the board, even with the predrilled holes. A second issue is that the hinge for the support arm is very thin and flimsy as are the screws used to mount it. I have had to work with similar hinges in the past and they just don't hold up over time. The same can be said for the screws and when you combine this with multiple opening and shutting of the arm, inevitably it will loosen and/or fail; sort of like a loose tooth that you continually wiggle. With those points said, I do like the look and feel of this board and that this piece is pretty enough to show off even when you aren't using it for your cookbook. I am sure that down the road I will have to fix it but at this price I guess I can deal with that, but it should be addressed on their end.

The wood was warped. It said there were supposed to be wooden screws? in the packaging. There were no screws so we had to make due.

The wooden board is nice but the metal piece that holds the book came scuffed and looks like it has been used before. This is a gift for someone else so we have not assembled it yet.

I bought this for my daughter’s new apartment and liked it so much I decided to get one for myself.I’ve been cooking for a long time and I still have to look up measurement conversions. Having this sitting on the counter is so convenient.It’s made well and makes a nice decor item also.Oh, it does hold recipes well also! 🤣
