This book stand was used for our kitchen cook book. The design of it is simple and clean. It comes in two pieces that you put together to make the stand - extremely easy to use.The stand functionality is my only grip, it’s a bit finicky is getting the book to stay open while in the stand. Maybe it’s the angle of the wood, or the height of the wood where the pages touch but you really need to press the book down to get a good crease for it to stay.For the price of the stand, it’s hard to argue against this item but know the bigger books might have difficulty staying open

Stand came badly chipped and wood is rough, but it works fine. I only paid $8 for it and didn't expect perfection.

Disappointed. It looks good and is fine for a tablet, picture or artwork, but doesn't hold an open book well at all.

I needed a support for a decorative item that I was gifting to someone. This wooden stand was perfect for my purpose. It is beautiful in its simplicity, nice and chunky, and so easy to put together. I love the nice wood, and how solid it is. I am sure it is a great book stand because it would appear to hold something that weighs as much as a book, but it is very versatile if you need a display stand for an item. My friend loved the gift and really liked the stand that I gave her.

It's very inexpensive so my expectations were low. It works, it's stable with a heavy cookbook, and holds the cookbook at a more convenient and readable angle. Unless you're wanting to give it to a young person who's just starting out, I'd hesitate gifting it.

How amazing this product is!! I’m able to not get mess all over my cookbook now! Makes cooking so much easier that the page just stays open! It’s so much easier reading the instructions also. The quality is great and it easily pulls apart to put it away

Surprisingly small. Will only hold small hardcover books. For anything else, buy a different book stand.
