This was the most disappointing item I have ever ordered from Amazon. Very flimsy, the cookie discs bent just trying to press dough through them. The press itself was not well made, we didn’t even make a dozen cookies before it stopped working.

I know this is an inexpensive product but this one was very bad. Like any "caulk" gun type mechanism, there is a spring to cause the ratcheting process. This is what cause the distinctive click when you let up on the handle. The spring in this is made of super thin metal wire and bends out of shape after a few uses. Without the ratcheting process the handle can not be pressed again after making a cookie. I used this once and promptly returned it.

Tried to use the cookie press with the dough recipe included in the box. The recipe resulted in a dough that was too thick to extrude properly. So thinned out the dough and tried again -at which point the pump clasp stopped working.I guess you get what you pay for. And I paid for cheap, Chinese junk.

The stainless steel material makes it very sturdy, but the handle needs rubber or something because when pressing it, it is sharp.

This was missing the disc that makes the wreath shape. One of the few discs that use every year at Christmas. The whole thing is cheap and flimsy. I tried to use it to make spritz cookies for Christmas. The snowflake disc bent and it’s now shaped like a cone. The piece on the handle that grabs the teeth bent so that it no longer ratchets. I wasn’t able to make a single cookie. Ruined a holiday tradition. Don’t waste your money.

Used it twice and the 2nd time it broke. I’m looking for the original because idk what this stuff is made of but it’s cheap.
