This works great - to turn it on simply open it and to turn it off, just close it. It reads accurately and very fast! Wish I had bought this years ago!! Buy it, you won't regret it!

It kind of feels cheap to me like it isn't going to hold up. I intended to take this in a bin full of camping stuff, but I'm not sure it would make the trip. Luckily I can 3D print a case for this since I already threw away the box.The responsiveness of this thermometer is decent. I would put it in the quick read category, but probably not fast as my thermapen. It's a decent budget thermometer
