I bought this to wear my phone around my neck while in Rome, Italy. It's just easier not having to constantly dig in your bag for your phone. I was on the Rome metro tonight though and somebody stole my phone while I had it around my neck. A guy got on the packed metro car just before me and then when I tried to step out of his way, he kept moving in front of me when I tried to move aside. I now realize he was wiggling my phone out of my phone case as he was doing this. He along with 2 other guys walked off the car just before the doors closed before I realized my phone was gone. My empty phone case fell on the ground as they exited the car. Had I been able to open the doors I would have chased them. They obviously are well versed in this type of theft so, just beware if you're in Europe on public transport (especially in Italy, I hear Spain is bad too.) I realize this item does not claim to be an antitheft device, but I just want to warn others. I am giving this product 5 stars though in spite of this incident because I do like this laynard. The straps feel sturdy, and I like that the straps are adjustable. Just don't wear it in an area where pickpockets are rampant.

When attached to the phone behind the case this tab and lanyard are very secure. Although the manufacturer may not recommend this, I was able to cut a slit in my cellphone case so that the tab sticks up out of the top. I had to cut the patch to fit around the camera but with the pad behind the phone, secured by the case itself, the tab and lanyard are very firm.

I bought this for my older brother who cannot keep track of his phone. He says it has revolutionized his life. The stress of constantly hunting for his phone is now gone. The little tab that you attach to the hook on the lanyard actually sticks to the back of your phone cover. It seems very secure. We found that sticking it to the bottom of the phone was the best way for him to be able to answer it conveniently. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the lanyard keeps slipping longer. I solved that problem by getting it where he wanted it and then stitching it in place so that it wouldn't move anymore. All in all he is very happy with it.

I bought this for my dad to attach to his phone because recently he fell and his phone fell out of his hand and too far away for him to reach. He has the thing around his neck to call me if he falls but he also needs his phone near him so we purchased this and he likes it. If it just hangs around his neck it can become too heavy but the lanyard is long enough that we made it as long as possible and it fits in his pocket while hanging around his neck.

I just got this, and it took me a while to figure out how to use it. It didn't come with directions, and I'm in my seventies, I NEED directions. So I checked the pictures here on Amazon, and they showed how the sticky holder goes inside my phone case, not onto the phone! It was easy to do, and the phone feels very secure. The lanyard feels comfortable (so far), and it is adjustable--very important, since I am only 5' tall. I am always forgetting where my phone is, and now I will have it with me all the time. And it was so affordable! I will buy more and keep them for gifts.

Nice size but no way to attach it to the phone at all!! Just a black strap with a.clip on the end… no instructions either so unless your phone already has a loop or hook, don’t choose this onel
