Moved into a home that had outdoor blinds. The blinds aren’t in need of replacing quite yet but the elastic ties/anchors definitely had seen better days.This was a practical solution to get a few more years out of these blinds that are at least 10 years old.

This is a great upgrade from the rings that hung from my shades. I used to hook the ring on a cup hook to keep the shades from flapping in the breeze. Now I lower the shade and pull the ball into the holder, and I'm done. The bungee helps so you don't have to have the shades perfectly aligned or lowered and you can still stretch the ball into place. Installation was very simple.

These tie-downs are the perfect compliment to the Coolaroo shades. Just plan ahead to make sure your placement is accurate. I've found the shade itself can got off track a bit (horizontally/level) which can throw off the tension on your bungees. It's not hard to realign, but measure/level twice and drill once. Hope this helps.

I replaced my worn tie downs and they were easy to install. My tie downs from the manufacture lasted only 2 years, (San Diego weather) and they broke.

I needed one to replace a broken clip on my retractable roller shade from coolaroo. It was a perfect replacement and fully met expectations.But what I was really happy with is when I found another use for the remaining bungees in the pack. I had just ordered a triangular sun shade, which I was planning on just screwing in place. But I had the idea to string these bungees to hang the shade and provide some flexible tension. I couldn't be more happy with how they worked for this purpose.I love these for their versatility, ease of installation and of course as direct replacements for their original intention!

Existing bungee cords and clips were deteriorated, so these were a convenient way to replace those and prevent the blinds from bouncing around in the wind. Fit was good and provided a secure hold. Tried to find these in a big box store, but there was nothing there, so this was a convenient find.

The original bungees lasted several years but eventually succumbed to the sun. These seem every bit as good as the originals, but time will tell. The replacement ends are nice as they take a beating too.It's an economical way to replace your old rollup shade bungees!
