I bought this fan for my grandson's computer. The fan he had was pretty old and it was making a lot of noise. This fan is really quiet and works VERY well. It is kind of colorful too, which he likes quite a bit. The main thing is that it keeps the processor cool and since he plays a lot of online video games, that is quite important. He is more than happy with the new fan.

Fn works well, is reasonably quiet and the ligt show works fine... Fair price... No complaints.

Not the quietest CPU fan I've heard but works adequately for something like a 12400F. Obviously not designed for serious over-clockers and high core counts.

I purchased this fan to replace the factory unit that came in my older Alienware desktop. The fan is MUCH larger than the factory one and works great. Didn't come with bracket to fit Intel CPU (despite saying so), so I will be returning this.

I know that this is a low-profile fan and won't move air like a bigger cooler, but I didn't expect it to work as poorly as it did with an i9-14900KF. It is advertised to work on all LGA1700 CPUs, but that appears to be under almost no load for the i9 as I couldn't even stay on the Call of Duty home screen without breaching 80c and the system shutting down automatically so the CPU doesn't fry out.I would have thought that with a lower profile fan moving less air that it would at least properly cover the CPU for better thermal transfer, but there is this tiny copper contact point barely the size of a penny that doesn't even cover 50% of the CPU.It just isn't built to get rid of heat fast enough on a higher end CPU. Advertising should be adjusted to max this thing out with an i7. Buyer beware.

Colory-boy just keeps spinning. No mistreatment on my behalf though. Installed right, got the connectors to the right pins on the motherboard, and I don't engage my computer at high stress levels. Normal heat per normal use--gaming. Take or leave my review, my final word: it works, it looks good, it sounds like a fan and you'll definitely hear it when things are quiet, and it amps up quite nicely during demanding moments like video editing or launching a game--it is heavy, feels high quality, and has proven itself to be.

My friend was having issues with his i5 1200 build. I checked his temps. Not good.I took off the stock cooler and it had like 1/2 the thermal pad used and a crack running along the edge of the Intel cooler slug.I have never seen that before in 30 years although I don't use Intel cooling much unless it's a simple build for others.So I cleaned up the cpu, installed this unit and it's all good now. This is about the same as the new stock Intel coolers but was cheaper and quieter. Don't expect more than that.

The footprint is quite a bit smaller than the chip. Might work fine for a budget cpu, would not recommend on a 12600 or higher.
